NUGENT, TASMANIA: The Mooks have pressed ahead with plans to record album version 3.5 despite being beset by technical problems. "Some clown pulled the plug and blew the box", explained a clearly disraught recording engineer. However the Mooks managed to salvage something out of the day in the form of a Chiltonesque Betamax live take and valuable insights into the seemingly endless recording process. Top agent UMOOKU was relaxed in the knowledge that this particular cockup was not his fault and spent the day filming proceedings. In a spectacular development he hopes to meet up with an as yet unamed Hollywood Movie Director to talk about his idea for a Spinaltapesque Rock Doco, tentatively titled "Shagger's Back". The Mooks intent to return to Nugent in the very near future once technical difficulties have been sorted out. Possible takes include Poe Dismuke's Donkey and The Porch. |
